From the Old Harbor to the old aristocracy
A refreshing discovery that proves the diversity of Marseille's urban landscape. Just a moment ago we found ourselves in pilgrims' heaven and now we take a dip in a lush and peaceful residential area with mansions and hidden paths. Instants later we dive our feet into the Mediterranean to end up in a scenery of aristocracy.

Tour 2
Of villages, back ways and shopping paradises
The path leads leisurely through calm backways. Nevertheless there is a lot to discover! Ancient estates, a park on a beltway, in the distance the city center, a youth hostel in an old castle, a village from the Middle-Ages, joggers and dog walkers on a canal, houses in the midst of park-like gardens and suddenly a landscape made of shopping centres.

Tour 3
With harbour view to the biggest covered market of Marseille
Alongside the industrial port of the city, this exploration runs through an urban landscape full of green gaps. We stride through an area that has undergone various changes during the past decades. Today, Marseille's waterfront is scarred of the most recent interventions. We will come across highrises, industrial areas, fallows, memories of the harbor and the „market square of the North“.

Tour 4
And the city lies beyond us
In the North of Marseille we stroll through the outskirts of the city, passing the biggest hospital, a new housing area and a quarter with sea views to finally end up in the mountains. The descent rewards us with a unique panorama of the bay of Marseille. A panorama that reveals the transition between nature and city in its most original form.

Tour 5
From a TGV station to the (inner) sea
A walking tour from the TGV station of Aix-en-Provence through typical Provencal nature to the Étang de Berre. On the agenda are red soil, a bubbling source, a park on the outskirts of the city, a district full of greenhouses and stunning views of the inner sea and its (industrial) surroundings with refineries and Marseille's airport.
